Kayaking
$1750

This trip is organized by Kayakasia SG (TA number 02634)

Kayaking has never been this exciting! This time we’ll take you to the great River Kwai. Come and paddle with us!

The River Kwai is filled with wonders. We will pass under the waterfalls with our kayaks and witness the verdant bamboo forests and the vast species of aquatic plants. There is a section where huge dolomite (a type of rock) formations dominate. Get the chance to encounter the gentle giants! On some evenings, the elephant handlers take their elephant to the river to take some bath. *depending on the days you choose, not all sections of the river is covered.

River Kwai takes pride in their charming boathouses. We will stay in these comfortable boat houses (3 stars and above) each night and tie our kayaks. We’ll keep close to the river to maintain the journey’s quest. It is recommended to bring at least 2 books, plus, you can also have a relaxing dip after every daily adventure.

We will not just enjoy the beautiful scenery that River Kwai offers but we will walk through the yesteryears. Kanchanaburi is rich in WW2 history, especially poignant are the remnants of the Burma-Thai railway by prisoners of the war.
